Blog Post #1

So, I've finally succumbed. This is the first blog post by a spinner, weaver, dyer, knitter, equestrienne, farmer with a full-time job.

I may not post often, since I don't have internet access at home - I live in the coast range of Oregon, where we have dial-up only...

I'm hoping to chronicle the life and times at Finney Creek Farm, fiberish persuits, horse training ups and downs, and the various home repairs that I find myself undertaking (don't get me started on plumbing...).

The title of the blog comes from the definition of Polymath:

Some of my friends call me a "factoid," some say my middle name is "MacGyver" (it's not), but I admit to having way more stuff in my head than should be safe or humanly possible. Sometimes it's really helpful, and sometimes I wish I could reformat the hard disk!

Stay tuned. Pictures will be included as often as possible, and descriptions of the residents of my farm will also be forthcoming.
